Underground Tanks

Amiantit Fiberglass Industries Limited (AFIL) is the largest manufacturer of fiberglass storage tanks in the GCC region. AFIL manufactures water tanks, chemical tanks, septic tanks and fuel tanks suitable for all residential and industrial applications. AFIL’s UL listed tanks are made up from Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) or Glass Reinforced Vinyl ester (GRV) which can handle a vast range of corrosive fluids with temperatures reaching 170 ⁰C, and with unlimited storage capacities depending on requirements, specifications, and site constraints.

Amiantit supplies ribbed and non-ribbed, single wall and double wall tanks which could be in a vertical (silo style) or in a horizontal configuration. Also, one of the type of installations of Amiantit tanks is underground installation. Underground storage tanks are designed and manufactured for a 50-year design life, with outlets, nozzles, man ways & ventilation as per universal standards or client requirements. Underground tanks are also designed to handle soil aggression and moisture, loads associated with burial depth and vehicular loads if there are any. The double wall fuel tanks are equipped with a smart leak detection system and are the only fuel tanks certified by the Civil Defense in KSA. Finally, Amiantit water tanks are also designed to fit potable/drinkable water applications as they are UL listed and certified by WRAS and NSF.
